Seam Burst Pressure

Pressure at which a seam fails.

Seam Height/Lenght

The total width of the double seam after forming.

Seamer (Can Seamer)

The Seamer is the machine that attaches the end to the can body.

Seamer Head

The part of the seamer containing the chuck and rolls.

Sectioning

Cutting the seam to measure internal measurements such as hooks, overlap, thickness, etc.

Shell

The main part of the end before the tab is attached.
